YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy policy.
1. About this policy
This policy describes the Island Chauffeur website and booking request process. The previous policy identified Ioannis Krokos as the operator. The current controller’s full legal identity, postal address and effective policy date must be confirmed before publication.
2. Information we collect
When you request a journey, the form asks for your name, email, telephone number, group size, pickup details, travel date and time, and the details needed for your selected service. You may also provide a flight number and a message. We do not request an ID or passport number at this enquiry stage. Please do not include identity document details in your message. No online payment or account registration is offered.
3. Use of information and consent
Booking details are used to respond to your request and arrange the service. The form includes the transport registration acknowledgement reproduced below. It is not a marketing opt-in. The lawful basis for each processing activity and the handling of statutory transport records must be reviewed by the business.
4. Cookies
This website uses Google Tag Manager (container GTM-5L6D8MT7) to load analytics and advertising tools, such as Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking, which may set cookies and send information about your visit to Google and other providers configured in that container. These tools load only after you select Accept in the cookie notice; if you select Reject, or make no choice, Google Tag Manager is not loaded and no analytics or advertising cookies are set. Your choice and its date are saved in local storage on your device for 180 days, after which the notice asks again. You can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings in the footer; withdrawing consent stops these tools and removes their cookies from this site. No booking details are saved in browser storage.
5. Sharing and disclosure
Requests pass through the configured SMTP provider to the business booking inbox. ID and passport fields are not collected by the booking form; legacy identity fields submitted by an older form are discarded during validation and are not included in booking emails. A separate receipt is sent to the customer without their pickup point or message. The business must identify its mail providers, other processors, any international transfers and any required disclosures in the approved policy.
6. Lawful bases
The existing policy addresses contractual necessity, legal obligations, legitimate interests and consent. The business must supply the applicable basis and purpose for each activity in the rebuilt booking process; these cannot be confirmed by the website implementation.
7. Access, correction and erasure
To ask about your personal information or request access, correction or deletion, contact islandchauffer@hotmail.com. The business must confirm the applicable rights procedure and supervisory authority information in the final policy.
8. Security
The application validates requests and sends email using the configured mail provider. It does not write booking payloads to a database, files or application logs. Hosting must use HTTPS, and the business must control access to mailboxes and prevent infrastructure logs from recording form bodies.
9. Data retention
The mandatory booking acknowledgement states that the relevant personal data is deleted within twenty four (24) hours after the end of the contract. The website has no booking database. Email delivery creates copies in SMTP systems and mailboxes; deletion of these copies, backups, forwarded messages and any Ministry records requires a documented process managed by the business and its providers. This application does not automate that external deletion.
10. Marketing
The booking form is used for service requests. This rebuild has no marketing subscription or marketing consent control.
11. Third-party behavioural advertising
With your consent, Google Tag Manager may load Google Analytics and advertising tags used to measure visits and the performance of our ads, and to show relevant ads on other websites. These tags do not run without your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from Cookie settings in the footer. See Google’s information on how it uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
12. Links to other websites
Links to WhatsApp, social profiles, review profiles and Webee lead to external websites. Their operators have their own privacy practices.
13. Policy updates
The business must review this policy when its services, providers or data practices change and publish an accurate effective date.
14. Questions and contact
Contact Island Chauffeur at islandchauffer@hotmail.com or +30 694 580 4865, Mykonos, Greece, for questions about this website and your request.
15. General terms
The previous policy included provisions concerning Greek and EU law and jurisdiction. Approved legal wording for those provisions must be supplied by the business. This draft does not establish replacement contractual terms.
Transport registration acknowledgement
As defined in article 4 paragraph 2 subparagraph "a" of Ministerial Decision 43618/1925 (Government Gazette Β' 2251 / 11.06.2019), I confirm that I have been informed that the above-mentioned elements of the Contract that concern me, are registered in the Digital Platform of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transportation. All my personal data (name, identity or passport details, pickup point) are deleted within twenty four (24) hours from the end of the Contract.
